Teaching Philosophy
My teaching is grounded in three core principles:
- Inclusivity: Creating a classroom environment where all students feel respected and able to contribute
- Critical Thinking: Encouraging students to question assumptions and engage deeply with social issues
- Application: Connecting theory to practice through real-world examples, research, and community-based perspectives

I aim to equip students with both analytical skills and a deeper understanding of social inequities, particularly as they relate to gender, sexuality, and health.
